Today, we went to the US Embassy to the Consulate's office and we had our interview. It reminded us a lot of the D.M.V. back home (especially, the wait). Christian's visa was issued this afternoon and now, we are free to return home. We have had the time of our life here and we will bring Christian back to visit when he is old enough to appreciate it all. Yesterday, we went on an all day excursion to Ha Long Bay. It is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and it is well worth the three and half hour drive. We stopped at a floating fishing village and we had lunch on the boat. Also, at the end of our journey, we went through a very interesting cave. The walk was mostly uphill and a bit treacherous carrying our precious Christian, but it was spectacular. We are excited to return home and we are hoping that the 30 some hours of travel will not be too tough on the little guy. We look forward to seeing all of our friends and family very soon. Thank you for following our journey here. Your support means more to us than you know. Love to all, Mary, Mark, and Christian
