It's been four months (Dec, 21st) DTV and we are still waiting and hopeful that our referral will be soon. It is difficult to wait, but we know that it is all part of the adoption process. This waiting time has given us time to appreciate time that we have together. We celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary on December 19th. We waited for the weekend to go out to dinner. It was really nice :)
On December 14th, friends and colleagues from my work threw me a baby shower. It was wonderful. Everyone was so encouraging, generous, supportive. I am posting a few pictures of the baby shower. Also, boy, is the baby's room getting full of stuff! Mark bought the bedding for the crib for the baby's Christmas gift and he put together the stroller we received from Matt and Nan, he's really handy! I've included a few pictures of the room. Check out the glider Kathy and Tom gave us for the baby's room---very nice. We keep up the positive thoughts and prayers, we know that it is working! Thank you for your prayers. Love, Mary and Mark
