Christian isn't the easiest person in the world to take pictures of. He almost always looks away from the camera just as I push the shutter button. But for some reason, today, he actually looked at the camera and said, "cheese". I was able to snap a couple of really cheesy smiles! Finally!
On a sad note, our very loved 14 year old basset hound, Kegger, was diagnosed with cancer in his abdomen. It has spread to his lungs too. The vet told us that he has about 3 months to live (at the most). Yesterday, Christian kept trying to hug Kegger, but Kegger kept walking away (so typical of him). We are very sad about his illness. We are trying to make him as comfortable as possible with pain meds. We love him so much and it is so hard to say goodbye.
