Over the weekend, we went to our niece Elise's 7th birthday party. It was held at an indoor playground filled with inflated JUMP toys. It seemed to be the perfect choice. All the kids had a good time, including Christian. He enjoyed following the kids around and playing with a little police car. Mark and our nephew, Brandon, took him down the big slide a couple of times. He really enjoyed that.
I included a couple of pictures from Halloween (since I never did a post). We took him trick or treating to a few houses on our street. I included a pic of our neighbor's son who is almost two. He and Christian played together like any other kids their age (they didn't play together!), but they still enjoyed each other's company.
Basically, after we took Christian trick or treating, we hung out across the street with two other families and passed out candy from there. We had a lot of fun (especially when kids were on our porch and we had to all yell, "hey, we're over here --three houses over here!") All in all, a glass of wine, a nice fire pit, good weather, good friends, cute kids trick or treating, what more could we ask for? And, we almost got rid of all of the candy.
